Key Details:
- Pay Range: $70,000-$85,000 per year, DOE
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday- Friday, with four days in-office and one work-from-home day. As you settle into the role and meet key benchmarks, there may be opportunities for additional remote flexibility in the future

What You’ll Do:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Manage the General Ledger, financial statements, and month-end/year-end close processes.
- Track and report on grants, ensuring compliance and proper allocation of funds.
- Collaborate with the COO to develop budgets, financial reports, and board presentations.
- Serve as a backup for payroll and accounts payable, approving payroll as needed.
- Takes the lead on annual audits and financial reporting.
- Provide leadership and oversight to the Payroll and AP Specialist.
- Maintain and enforce a system of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or Master’s degree a plus!).
- 3-5 years of accounting experience (nonprofit or healthcare experience preferred).
- Experience with accrual accounting and financial compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred).
- Payroll experience preferred (ADP preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus!
