What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) / Claims Associate position at Walmart?

We are looking for a team player who can:
- Maintain the claims and hazardous waste storage area in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns; zoning the area; arranging and organizing merchandise/supplies; identifying shrink and damages, and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Receives and stocks supplies from distribution centers and vendors throughout the facility and organizes and maintains an area of responsibility by following company procedures, utilizing equipment appropriately, and completing and retaining required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
- Prepares and processes defective or damaged merchandise by identifying, packaging, labeling, and ultimately returning or managing merchandise, including hazardous materials, per company procedures, auditing claims boxes to ensure the contents in the box match the documentation, tracking claims to ensure proper credit is received by the facility, communicating with suppliers and vendors, and completing required inspections, documentation and reports.
The hourly wage range for this position is $15.00 to $25.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
