We are seeking a motivated and skilled Machine Operator – Extrusion Experience to join our manufacturing team. As a Machine Operator – Extrusion Experience, you will play a critical role in ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. This position offers significant advancement potential in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate and monitor extrusion machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Set up machines according to production specifications, including calibrating tools and adjusting machine settings.
- Perform regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
- Load raw materials into machines and oversee the extrusion process for consistency.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including output, downtime, and any adjustments made.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on extrusion equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating extrusion machines is required.
- Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and precision.
- Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 50 llbs
- Flexibility to work either the 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM or 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM shift.
- Desire to grow within the company and take on additional responsibilities.
