About the Role
We are currently looking for a Controller who will oversee the activities of the finance department.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points
- Responsible for maintaining accurate standard costs
- Develops yearly budget and semi-annual forecasts
- Monitor, analyze, and report monthly actual results against the budget
- Develop, maintain and analyze monthly contribution margin report
- Guide financial decisions by applying both company policies and procedures to current economic landscape
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines
- Help develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies
- Work closely with departments to establish and maintain KPIs
- Work closely with manufacturing and warehousing leadership to ensure that all financial transactions and reporting are complete, accurate and timely
- Perform frequent walk-throughs of manufacturing site with production management to address production and costing issues
- Establish (in coordination with Director of Finance) financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on biweekly, monthly and annual basis
- Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures and workflows

- Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field
- At least five years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance manager
- Previous experience should include work in the automotive/manufacturing industry
- SAP experience is desirable
- Possess a solid understanding of all of the financial and operating aspects/measurements of the manufacturing areas of responsibility;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with a team of professionals inside and outside of accounting/finance department.
