Description:
Our client is currently seeking an Associate Attorney. This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities Include:
- Consulting with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case.
- Conducting research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts as sources.
- Drafting, reviewing, and advising legal texts, including reports, contracts, and appeals.
- Representing clients at meetings, hearings, and trials.
- Ensuring that data obtained during interactions with clients remain confidential and are stored securely.
- Advise clients with legal recommendations and strategies.
- Increasing business development responsibilities to bring revenue and build clientele.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor and NYS Bar Admittance are required.
- 1-2 years of experience practicing law.
- Exceptional contract drafting skills are a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.
