Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team. You will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable and user-friendly solutions, contributing to both front-end and back-end development. Strong coding and project management skills are crucial in this role. This is a full-time, direct-hire position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead a team of 2 developers to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule and within budget.
- Support CTO in translating business requirements into user stories and technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of the platform, ensuring high scalability, performance, and security.
- Build and maintain a robust back-end architecture aligned with performance and security standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software to enhance performance and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Technical Bootcamp, or a related work experience.
- Minimum 8 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a mentorship or leadership role
- Expertise in back-end development using Python or Java.
- Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React or React Native.
- Willingness to travel as needed for business/company meeting
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
- Location preference to Upstate New York.
- Previous Start-up experience is preferred
