The Walser Auto Campus spans 30 acres, 8 rooftops, it is the pride of our automotive portfolio, people travel from all over the world to visit, first impressions count! Candidates should be organized with experience in the field that will take pride in their work. Our state-of-the-art facilities and grounds need a technician to manage and perform building repairs, and maintenance. Individuals should be organized, able to multitask, self-motivated and highly driven.
Compensation: $50,000-$60,000/year
How are Facilities Managers Drive Impact
- Responsible for the overall appearance and condition of the facilities and grounds
- Create prevention plans for recurring problems
- Performing regular reviews and checklists of the facilities
- Working with store heads to repair and maintenance buildings
- Adjust and repair garage doors light duty work, training will be provided
- Ability to perform door adjustments and light mechanical knowledge
- Bid out jobs to minimize cost and maximize quality
- Keep schedules and perform preventative maintenance
- Perform regular inspections, hold vendors responsible and execute the repairs or upkeep as needed
- Identify facility related issues, grounds issues and propose a plan of action and promptly execute it
- Keep track of maintenance on all facilities related vehicles
- Plan and coordinate Skid steer rental and be first on Campus during snow days to salt and coordinate a plan
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Heavy deliveries (water, man lift, forklift)
- Occasionally perform janitorial functions for buildings, grounds, and equipment using cost effective, efficient methods
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory agencies and organization policies and procedures
- Office set-up/tear downs
- Snow day preparation, equipment rental and supplies restocking, and working the bob cat or snow plow
- Holding the Landscaping vendor accountable for the grounds
- Keep the campus clean, remove debris and trash
- Light building maintenance and painting
- Must wear safety eyewear at all times when in dealership service departments
- Must wear hard-toed shoes and slip resistant footwear in when in dealership service departments

What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and provide preventative maintenance
- Carpentry skills
- Obtain certifications as appropriate
- Ability to work with HVAC, plumbing, mechanical devices, torches, liquids, and electrical devices
- Ability to operate forklift, skid steer, snow plow and man lifts
- Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and in rare cases, high, precarious places
- Ability to work outdoors in all temperatures
- Demonstrate effective problem solving skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
