Student Employee, Office of Enrollment & Student Success

As a Student Employee, you will play a key role in providing administrative support and assisting with marketing initiatives within the Office of Enrollment & Student Success (OESS). This position is perfect for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in project management, student services, and marketing. This position requires strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication with both students and staff.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in day-to-day office operations, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and organizing documentation for leadership.
- Collaborate with team members to plan, prepare, and execute orientation programs for new students.
- Assist with outreach and communications for international students, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and information.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining recruitment and event schedules.
- Support the development of marketing materials, including flyers, social media posts, and promotional content for OESS events.
- Assist with managing social media accounts, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement.
Your Qualifications Include:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Familiarity with student services, international student needs, or event planning, in an academic and/or higher education setting is a plus.
30-Day Goals:
- Familiarize yourself with OESS operations, including email, phone systems, and departmental structures.
60-Day Goals:
- Conduct an audit of the new student journey and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Actively participate in committee meetings and cross-functional unit projects.
90-Day Goals:
- Develop and implement New Student Orientation programs.
- Serve as a student ambassador at recruitment events.
