Job Summary: The Fleet Manager is responsible for maintaining fleet safety and operations by training drivers and resolving maintenance issues to reduce downtime. This role is crucial in ensuring our drivers receive the support they need to succeed and that our vehicles are always ready for service. Key Responsibilities:
- Drivers Get the Support They Need to Succeed
- Onboard new drivers within one week of their hiring date.
- Fairly distribute substitute driving duties to minimize burnout and ensure coverage.
- Conduct regular ride-alongs to improve performance and build strong relationships with drivers.
- Handle and Mitigate Breakdowns and Accidents
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and accidents, following established protocols.
- Perform driver ride along training and provide monthly team training to reduce incidents and their operational impact.
- Be available to respond to incidents from 6 AM - 6 PM on school days.
- Equipment is Repaired, Installed, and Monitored Seamlessly
- Address maintenance issues promptly and coordinate repairs with multiple service providers.
- Ensure safety equipment is properly installed and monitored to maintain overall fleet safety.

** Required-
-This job offer is contingent on the ability to pass a physical, state and federal and child abuse background checks,drug screen and mandated reporter training. All of these are paid by the company. Time for the mandated reporter training is paid at first pay.
- Proven experiences as a fleet manager or similar role with transportation logistics.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and requirements.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- The ability to adapt and make decisions with priority,safety and responsibility.
- A valid driver's license is also required; additional certifications in fleet management are a plus.
