What We’re Looking For: Do you have a passion for boating and experience working in sales? We want to hear from you! Walstrom Marine is looking for a creative and driven salesperson to join our growing team in Traverse City.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their boating needs, preferences, and budgetary requirements.
- Boat and Yacht Sales: Promote and sell a diverse range of boats and yachts from our inventory, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our boat and yacht models, features, and specifications to effectively present their benefits to customers.
- Lead Generation: Proactively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, attending boat shows, and other marketing initiatives.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our sales and support team to ensure seamless customer experiences and maintain a cohesive work environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to remain competitive in the marketplace.
What you need to be successful:
- At least 1 to 2 years of previous experience in a sales role; Marine Industry knowledge a plus.
- Must be able to travel to various accounts, industry events, and dealer functions.
- Required to be computer literate, including experience with Microsoft Office and sales software.

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, Saturday availability required in the summer months
- This is an in-person, on site position based out of our Traverse City location
