Assist attorneys, case managers and paralegals with reception, document control and various clerical and computer operations.
Responsibilities:
- Answers overflow telephone calls
- Provides front desk coverage
- Serves as backup to the Intake department when necessary
- Scans and categorizes all documents in SmartAdvocate according to firm standards
- Retains mail for a designated holding period and shreds thereafter
- Ensures mail is delivered to the post office before the last pickup
- Maintains office supply inventory
- Assists with overflow translation projects
- Performs other assigned responsibilities
- Organizes and maintains file/supply room
- Generates SmartAdvocate reports
- Business professional attire required
- Must have reliable transportation
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an office, preferably handling large volumes of documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat (Required).
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record and be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including sitting for extended periods, typing, occasional lifting (up to 25-30 lbs), and walking.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
