Responsibilities
We are looking for a Dental Treatment Coordinator team member who will:
- Educate, consult and present patient treatment plans.
- Schedules and confirms patient appointments.
- Verifies insurance for all clinical appointments.
- Enters information on dental software in patient accounts.
- Ensures and reviews entire patient account for complete and accurate information.
- Collects all monies due for services rendered.
- Develops and maintains doctor/hygiene schedules as necessary.
- Support marketing and promotional activities to increase and stimulate new patient growth.
- Greet and check patients in and out, before and after treatment.
- Following up on pending treatments or payments
- Addressing patient objections and concerns effectively
- Finding solutions for financial or scheduling conflicts
- Working with insurance companies to resolve coverage issues
- Experience with dental insurance verification
- Understanding payment options, financing plans, and cost estimate
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A minimum of two years of front office experience preferably in a dental setting.
- Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
