Well established, privately owned Lumber & Building Materials company is seeking an experienced Inside Sales person to service our customers in southeastern Lancaster and Chester counties. Our company is committed to operating with honesty, integrity and high standards of excellence when serving our customers, employees, vendors and the communities in which we operate. Our inside sales representative is responsible for providing excellent service in assisting customers purchase products needed for remodeling projects, additions and new construction jobs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Assisting customers at the sales counter with product needs and recommendations.

· Answering telephones, taking orders and entering items, pricing and delivery information into computer system.

· Processing cash and credit card sales.

· Work with outside sales personnel in coordinating deliveries to existing customers.

· Following up on deliveries and processing returns.

· Organize purchase and schedule delivery of Special Item orders.

· Contact customers by telephone/email to generate additional sales.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

· 1-2 years' experience in lumber and building materials, including windows and doors.

· Excellent communication and customer service skills required.

· Basic computer and calculator skills required.

· Able to work as a team member and maintain positive attitude.

· Detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
