Responsibilities
- Oversee the acquisition, appraisal, and stocking of pre-owned vehicles to maintain a diverse and high-quality inventory.
- Develop pricing strategies and market analysis to ensure competitive pricing and maximize profitability.
- Implement effective merchandising techniques to showcase vehicles online and on the dealership lot, enhancing their appeal to prospective buyers.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing ongoing training and development to optimize performance.
- Set sales targets and goals for the used car department, monitoring progress and implementing strategies to achieve desired results.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and advertising strategies to attract customers and drive traffic to the dealership.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and reconditioning processes to maintain inventory quality and ensure compliance with dealership standards.
- Manage trade-in vehicles and wholesale transactions, negotiating fair prices and maximizing profitability.
- Foster positive relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive sales management, with a focus on pre-owned vehicles.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales performance, achieving targets, and maximizing profitability.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards common goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships with customers and team members.
