Position Overview
As a Sprinter Van Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in delivering high-quality service to our valued customers.
General Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance as specified in the repair order, ensuring efficiency and adherence to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment to test components and systems.
- Conduct road tests to verify repair effectiveness and ensure vehicle performance.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Advisor to provide updates on repair progress and recommend additional services when necessary.
- Offer accurate time estimates for additional repairs and communicate clearly with customers about service needs.
- Ensure all work is completed to factory specifications, including repairs under warranty.
- Inspect vehicles for any additional safety or service concerns.
- Ensure that all repairs meet dealership and factory standards.
- Verify warranty coverage prior to commencing repairs.
- Execute all warranty work in compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- ASE certifications are ideal.
- Strong automotive background.
- Must have held a valid drivers license for at least two years and have a clean driving record.
Salary : $66,500 - $175,000
