Position Overview
The Food Trailer Worker is a key member of the food and beverage team, responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food in a fast-paced food trailer operation while also assisting with food preparation for suite catering. This role ensures smooth day-of-show service, upholding high standards in food preparation, cleanliness, and customer service. Principal Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Represent Walton Arts Center / Walmart AMP at both on and off-site events, as requested.
- Maintain professional working relationships with teammates, fellow staff members from other departments, vendors, patrons, and tenants of leased spaces.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain security and safety requirements as defined by operations guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Food Preparation & Service
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards for both the food trailer and suite catering.
- Assist in assembling and packaging food orders for suite guests, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Operate food trailer equipment, including grills, fryers, and warming stations.
Customer Service
- Provide friendly and efficient service, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Take and process orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Assist with special requests and dietary accommodation when possible.
Operational Support
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the food trailer before and after each event.
- Support suite catering by preparing and organizing food for delivery.
- Keep the trailer and prep areas clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service.
- Follow all closing procedures, including equipment cleaning and waste disposal.
- Assist in loading and unloading supplies for events.

Education, Training, and Traits
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and event days.
- Food handler’s certification preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Comfortable with consistently adhering to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

Work Experience
- Prior experience in food service, food trucks, catering, or concessions is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly (on telephone)
- Must have a working cell phone and be willing to install basic applications and be willing to use it for work purposes
- Must be able to endure sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Must be able to endure standing or walking for extended periods of time on various surfaces such as concrete, grass, and inclined surfaces.
- Must be able to endure outdoor elements including cold, heat, wind, and/or precipitation
- Must be able to work in large, crowded environments, with flashing lights, loud music and noises, pyrotechnics, and cannons as part of shows and events
