Job Responsibilities
- Report to Waltonen Engineering Manager
- Supervise Designers, Detailers, and Checkers
- Delegate tasks effectively to the team members, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
- Engage in daily customer interactions and deliver technical presentations to groups
- Regularly use CAD design software (Creo) to contribute to project designs for the Defense Industry
- Ensure that designs are cohesive, meet quality standards, and align with project requirements
- Work closely with engineers to integrate design and technical requirements
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers and detailers, fostering their professional growth and helping them develop their skills in the field
- Onsite Creo training will be provided to candidates without previous experience
