What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Laborer position at Wandel Contractors Inc?
Job Summary
We are looking for hard-working people who take pride in what they do, bring a passion for learning new skills, enjoy working with a team and being a part family-focused concrete construction company. You will be assisting your Foreman/Supervisor in all aspects of the job: reading plans and specifications, grading stone, placing concrete, setting forms, etc. Perform associated tasks involving physical labor, lifting, working in all types of weather, operation of hand and power tools of all types, ensure site is clean and safe by following and enforcing company standards and procedures and complying with DOT regulations.
Requirements
· Applicant must have 3 years of experience in construction.
· Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record is required prior to hire. Able to obtain Class A CDL.
· Able to work varied hours including nights, mornings and weekends as needed.
· Must be punctual, dependable, and hard working.
· Must be knowledgeable of construction and proficient in math.
· Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints and measurements
· Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance with proper PPE when in the field.
· Strong communication skills with crew to assure customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
