Job Summary :
We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to support the HR department in carrying out various administrative tasks and functions. The ideal candidate will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records maintenance, and other HR-related activities.
Responsibilities :
Assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, including orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and training arrangements.
Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
Assist in organizing employee training, development programs, and performance evaluations.
Support maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Assist with payroll preparation and maintaining accurate attendance records.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Maintain and update the HR database
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred)
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in HR role, with exposure to various HR functions.
Knowledge of HR principles and practices.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Pay Rate : $20.00-$22.00 / hour
Schedule : 24 hours per week, part time.
Monday : 8 hours on site
Tuesday : 8 hours remote
Friday : 4 hours on site
The position will start as a hybrid role for the first 90 days, then transition to a fully on-site role at our warehouse.
