With cutting-edge technology and expertise, we install fiber optic networks for businesses and communities, revolutionizing communication and data transmission.We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to assist in construction, excavation, and other related tasks. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Help load and assist fiber installation activities.
• Assist in digging and grading tasks to prepare sites for building or landscaping.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project timelines are met.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs when necessary.
• Assist with other site operations as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient in heavy equipment operation with experience in haul trucks, excavators, loaders, directional drills, and other tracked equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functionality and maintenance requirements.
• Ability to dig accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Must have a CDL Class A

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
