Associate Merchant

Warby Parker is looking for a dynamic and motivated Associate Merchant to join our Merchandising team. In this role, you'll support our head merchants in assorting new collections, researching trends, and merchandising our product in stores and online. As an expert on our upcoming and new offerings, you'll also collaborate and communicate with a range of departments across the company. What you’ll do: 

• Conduct sales analyses, support new product strategy initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional partners across the organization to drive the frames business


• Own the full product lifecycle for your categories—passing line plan needs to design, assorting product, and overseeing investment review and go-to-market strategies


• Oversee SKU set-up, site merchandising, and proofing for all new product launches 


• Create retail training materials for all new product launches and support the head merchants in visual merchandising for all Warby Parker stores


• Coordinate the input and organization of our product catalog


• Oversee our sample process, including organization, display, and communication with our Product Development and Brand teams

Who you are:

• Backed by 1 years of experience in merchandising


• A result-focused, detailed-oriented thinker who’s equal parts creative and analytical


• Equipped with a sharp eye for design, a love for fashion, and keen, up-to-the-minute awareness of trends


• A people person and team player—we work with almost every department at the company and constantly drive cross-functional communication


• A quick learner who's able to analyze sales data swiftly, accurately, and efficiently


• A master multitasker with great management and organizational skills (get ready to wear many hats!)


• Far from shy—you’re comfortable presenting internally, training stakeholders, and leading communication with other teams


• Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)

Extra credit:

• A background in non-apparel product


• Experience with G Suite and Excel

Warby Parker, in good faith, believes that the posted salary range is accurate for this role in New York at the time of posting. Warby Parker may pay more or less than the posted range based on factors such as relevant experience and skills, qualifications and location, among others. This range may be modified in the future. 

New York Pay Range: $68,250 USD - $78,000 USD
