Warby Parker is on the lookout for a dynamic Manager of Planning Strategy to play a pivotal role in driving product-related growth and forecasting initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Director of Merchandise & Store Planning, you’ll support strategic product initiatives, including forecasting new launches, gross margin reporting, and strategic planning reviews. What you’ll do:
- Product-Related Financial Oversight
- Develop and maintain a product-related gross margin reporting
- Contribute to enhancing product margins through data-driven strategies
- Identify opportunities across all product categories to improve product margin
- Strategic Analysis and Growth Initiatives
- Develop a complete understanding of company objectives and the functions of the Planning team to identify areas for growth and efficiency
- Collaborate on strategic analyses to drive topline growth, including support for new product line forecasting, lens replacements, and new lens launches
- Performance Metrics and Reporting
- Analyze and monitor success metrics for the Planning team, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement
- Work together with cross-functional partners and managers to ensure that our strategic planning meetings fit the needs of current and future business
- Planning and Inventory Management Technology
- Assist on strategic Anaplan roadmap to ensure workstreams in the system support topline forecasting and the overall business
- Operate as a supporter and change agent for new systems and processes
- Develop a deep understanding of core systems, including new tools, data requirements, and reporting optimization
Who you are:
- Backed by 5 years of experience in strategic planning, operations, project management, or another related field
- Equipped with a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or another related field
- A highly analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail
- A positive thinker with an infectious, can-do attitude
- A strong cross-functional collaborator
- Able to lead high-visibility projects from start to finish and drive measurable results
- Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
Extra credit:
- Familiarity with Anaplan, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
