Role Description
We are looking for a talented and eager professional to join our leadership team to strengthen our team and position us for future growth. This position requires someone that is well versed and experienced in commercial construction, has excellent communication skills, experience in negotiating, and aligns with our core values of Positivity, Integrity, and Grit.
Key Responsibilities
- Position will report directly to President Stanton Ward
- Become well versed in Ward-Humphrey experience, team, and goals
- Develop and strengthen relationships with current clients
- Develop strategy for business growth and development with leadership
- Attend bi-weekly leadership meetings and provide update on progress of goals
- Develop relationships with new clients in target markets
- Attend OAC meetings as frequently as possible to meet clients and become familiar with project status
- Attend local industry specific events to build relationships
- Attend trade shows for specific target market events
- Develop, track, and maintain a target list of projects and proposals
- This position is ultimately responsible for RFP performance
- Work with proposal coordinator to ensure all bid requirements are completed
- Write all projective narratives with assistance from preconstruction
- Conduct debriefs on all RFP’s with clients to understand where we can improve and provide written feedback to leadership
- Attend and participate in all project hand-off meetings with preconstruction and operations
