Wareham High School is hiring a certified math teacher to teach Algebra and Geometry classes
Responsibilities:
This position includes a number of essential responsibilities, including (but not limited to) the following:
Design and implement challenging lessons that maintain a high level of rigor and expectations.
Conduct and analyze various types of assessments administered to assigned students.
Promote a safe learning environment that is conducive to optimal learning.
Work closely with the mathematics department head.
Design learning activities that will relate topics in mathematics to real life applications.
Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to provide an orderly, productive classroom environment.
Communicate with parents, caregivers, and support staff to maximize the individual student’s progress toward mastery.
