We are looking for a Director of Marketing at Warm Hearth Village
Daily Role:
- Plan, organize, lead and control the marketing sales for Warm Hearth Village
- Oversee all public relations functions for Warm Hearth Village
- Lead and direct your team
- This is a FT position - M-F 8:00pm-5:00pm. And as needed for programs after hours.
Position Summary:
The Director of Marketing is a leader in the Marketing Arena and will partner with all Warm Hearth Village Departments as well as our Warm Hearth Foundation.
The Director of Marketing reports to the President/CEO and is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of marketing at Warm Hearth Village. The Director of Marketing is a marketing leader with demonstrated expertise in a broad range of areas, including, excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills, experience with design and layout of promotional materials, website design experience, ability to use supporting software such as Microsoft Front Page, Excel, Word, Publisher, Access and Project. Knowledge of print process and pricing structures will be a plus.
The successful Director of Marketing will be a proactive member of the Warm Hearth Village team and an integral part of the greater community seen as a champion for the senior population. This is a single-site, community-based position in Blacksburg, Virginia that offers a team-oriented and flexible work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, professional experience and specialized expertise.
- A professional who conveys confidence and earns trust.
- Experience successfully managing people, programs and resources with strong leadership principles (typically five or more years).
- Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem-solving, as well as strategic goal setting, business planning and successful implementation of new programs or services
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse audience and a diverse community of internal stakeholders.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness, including, but not limited to, collaboration, staffing and programming.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Marketing or sales experience is helpful
Conditions of Employment
- This position is subject to additional hours beyond the typical work week to include evenings and weekends.
- Must have the ability to travel as required.
