Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator, known internally as a Fabrication Specialist, to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, operates tools and machinery with precision, and is committed to producing high-quality work. This role requires proficiency with standard shop tools, the ability to read blueprints, and strong attention to detail in ensuring both functional and aesthetic product quality. Job Responsibilities:

• Operate technical machines to fabricate products according to blueprints and shop orders.
• Perform sheet metal fabrication tasks; safely operate standard shop tools and machines with proficiency. This includes grinders, sandblasting, timesaver, etc.
• Visually inspect parts during fabrication to ensure quality and accuracy; ensure both functional and aesthetic quality of finished products.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with 5S principles.
• Will perform other production duties at times. Position includes ongoing training and flexibility to assist in various operations and cover for team members as necessary.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to demonstrate a basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication.
• Prior sheet metal fabrication experience is required.
• MIG and TIG welding experience or credentials are strongly preferred.
• Able to accurately read a variety of measuring devices.
• Familiarity with technical blueprints, drawings, or layouts (2 years preferred).
• Experience working with standard shop tools is required (2 years).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Adaptability to changing project needs while ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Previous powder coating experience a plus
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and lift to 50 lbs.

Starting Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 hourly rate
