The Job

The Account Coordinator position at Warner Bros. Discovery is the entry level role that leads you towards the path to a successful career within multiplatform media sales. Coordinators provide sales support to Account Executives, Sales Planners, clients, and agencies regarding linear media at WBD. The TNT Sports Account Coordinator supports the linear sales team for all TNT Sports properties, including NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAA Basketball, NCAA Football, NASCAR, Roland Garros, The Match and more on our WBD networks TNT, tbs, truTV, and NBA TV.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong business relationships and act as a liaison with advertising agency counterparts and internal WBD departments including Pricing & Planning, Linear Commercial Operations, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Serve as the internal first line of contact to ensure proper maintenance of the Sales team's business from proposal to payment.
  • Observe and report weekly on all pacing and delivery of deals across TNT Sports properties.
  • Execute all client orders across all linear platforms, ensuring that they are in approved weekly programming and compliant with all client requirements.
  • Respond to clients in a timely manner to ensure meeting the needs of the clients’ requests.
  • Handle program and commercial changes that arise in the fast-paced live sports environment
  • Work with Account Executive, Sales Planners and the Marketing department on promotional assets, material deadlines, and approvals.
  • Work closely with Linear Commercial Operations to ensure game-day logs are set.
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies with agencies and credit team.
  • Perform other responsibilities as directed by Sales Support Management, Account Executives, and other Sales partners for your assigned accounts and agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 0-2 years relevant post-graduate work experience or related internship
  • Client Service and/or Account Management experience a plus.
  • Must have strong communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented and responsive, deadline-driven with strong quantitative reasoning skills.
  • Must be able and willing to provide overtime work when necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $40,593.00 - $75,388.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
