Diesel Fleet Mechanic

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vehicle maintenance, power tools, and diesel engines. If you are passionate about working with heavy machinery and ensuring their optimal performance, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
• Diagnose and repair engine issues using diagnostic tools
• Inspect and repair brakes, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and other vital parts of diesel vehicles
• Weld and fabricate parts as needed
• Conduct inspections and test drive vehicles to ensure proper functionality
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed
• Must have your own tools and toolbox
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
• Knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, shocks struts, and tractor-trailer systems
• Ability to use power tools effectively
• Experience with crane operations is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Hours for this shift are Monday - Friday 4 pm to 12:00am

Health, Vison and Dental is 100% paid by the company after 60 days of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
