Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Perform blood sampling and phlebotomy procedures with precision and care.
- Collect, label, and process specimens according to established protocols.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing concerns and ensuring comfort throughout the procedure.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate specimen handling and processing.
- Adhere to all laboratory procedures and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.
Requirements
- Proven experience in phlebotomy, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to phlebotomy and laboratory procedures.
- Knowledge of physiology as it relates to patient care during specimen collection.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in phlebotomy or relevant training is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.31 - $22.56 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
