Part-Time Legal Counsel

The best of both worlds is possible. Provide legal counsel for well-known, family-owned company, Warners' Stellian, while working a flexible, part-time schedule.

As Legal Counsel, you will :

• Provide legal advice and counsel on various corporate and commercial matters, including contracts, employment law, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property
• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate policies
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Represent the company in conciliation court legal proceedings
• Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed
• Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the company's interests and mitigate legal risks
• Advise senior management on the legal implications of business decisions and strategic initiatives
• Conduct training sessions for employees on legal and compliance matters
• Assess programs and advise leaders to mitigate company risk, including participating in the company's insurance policies process and safety and quality programs.

Schedule :

10 - 20 hours per week. Hours based on candidate's skill set in areas such as Safety and Quality. Role may be performed in-office or remotely with flexibility in the weekly schedule.
