What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Specialist position at Warnick Mechanical?
The Warehouse Specialist will ensure that the daily functions and procedures of warehouses, such as inventory, materials, equipment run smoothly and efficiently. From shipping and receiving to maintaining inventory, the Warehouse Specialist must keep close tabs on all facets of warehouse operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-Perform a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy and completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor products, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store and replenish material, and conduct daily/weekly cycle counts.
-Perform receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
-Maintain, clean and organize facility by sweeping, trash removal, etc. on a daily basis.
-Receive and inspect incoming material orders from approved vendors.
-Store and organize all inventory, tools and equipment in an orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock items for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
-Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
-Make occasional deliveries to job sites or customers.
-Maintains all required and appropriate logs pertaining to inventory, material, and equipment.
-Complete daily checklists as provided by management team.
-Performs additional duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
