Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Warren Center in Queensbury, NY.
About Us:
Warren Center is an eighty-bed skilled nursing facility providing a wide spectrum of nursing care to the residents of Warren County.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Observe residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
- Take care of residents' personal hygiene, including bed baths, shaving, etc.
- Set up meal trays and document food/fluid intake
- Feed residents and serve nutritional supplements
- Make beds and keep residents' space clean and tidy
- Transport residents within the facility
- Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data
Requirements:
- Must be able to work as a team member
- Successful completion of a CNA program
- Current CNA State Certification
- Must be in good standing with State Registry
