POSITION: Adult Education Program Coordinator, Information Technology and Cybersecurity Programs
REPORTS TO: Director of Adult Education or Designee
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-Time, 249 days, 8.0 hours per day, with the Option of working 4, 10 hr days, Mon-Thurs at Discretion of Director of Adult Ed or Designee, FLSA exempt
QUALIFICATIONS:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Coordinator will be responsible for supervising, and conducting training programs and classes, in their area of expertise. The coordinator will also be responsible for teaching part of the curriculum, recruiting students and maintaining individual class and program enrollment for the programs he/she oversees. These programs and/or classes shall include both open enrollment and customized training. The curriculum for the programs and/or classes will provide well-planned, current instruction that meets the needs of the students and business and industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in related area preferred
- Minimum of five years full-time related work experience
- Current or Recent certifications preferred in: Network , Server , Linux , and/or Security certification(s), Cisco CCNA1, CCNA2, Cloud Essentials, Cloud , AWS certified, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
- Valid Ohio Adult Education Teaching Certificate as required by their area of expertise
- Previous employee supervision and teaching/training experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and technology skills
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Hold a valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Maintains compliance with Board policies and other applicable procedures/guidelines

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintains an acceptable attendance record and is punctual.
- Supervises the development of short-term, immediate, and long-range programs, as well as developing and implementing customized training programs and workshops in areas of expertise.
- Assists in the hiring and orientation of adjunct instructors for the area of expertise.
- Has a working knowledge of the assessment instruments used to evaluate employee performance.
- Organizes and participates in adjunct faculty training.
- Assesses customer needs.
- Provides or assists in the development of training curriculum for the area of expertise.
- Works with business and industry advisory committees to establish effective training programs.
- Identifies equipment, texts, supplementary and software needs and sees that they are available for instruction when needed.
- Initiates the maintenance of equipment and furnishes inventory for area of responsibility.
- Develops and maintains program budget to ensure program viability, compiles data and prepares reports as assigned
- Organizes and maintains an active advisory committee, holding required meetings throughout the year.
- Ensures student grades, attendance, credentials, and placement data are inputted in a timely manner and maintained on applicable student management systems.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Adult Education or his/her designee
Salary: Starts at $74,213.00, based on experience
