We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cook to support the operations of our Lebanon Early Learning Center. This is a 35 hour/week, benefits eligible, Mon-Fri role. Hours are typically from 6:30am—2:00pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Prepares food for children, following menus and recipes provided by Nutrition Manager, including modifications for infants and toddlers.
-Keeps kitchen and dining room surfaces and floors clean using proper sanitation procedures before and after meal preparation and meal service.
-Washes dishes, utensils, pots and pans using proper sanitation procedures.
-Cleans ovens, refrigerators and other kitchen equipment as needed.
-Takes inventory of all food and nonfood related items and sends updates to Nutrition Manager.
-Keeps log of freezer, refrigerator, and dry storage areas and records temperatures daily.
-Conducts any needed grocery shopping at authorized store with approved itemized shopping list and sends receipts to Nutrition Manager.
-Signs for food deliveries, receives food and nonfood products from vendors, marks cans with delivery dates, sends invoices to Nutrition Manager.
