Job Title: Clerk of Courts Coordinator / Administrative Assistant
Department: Prothonotary/Clerk of Courts
Grade & Wage: $15.47 Per Hour (Non-Exempt)
Status: Full time (40 hours per week) with benefits, Non-Exempt, Union-Eligible
Qualifications: Minimum high school graduate with emphasis on business practice (Knowledge of legal terminology helpful)
Must have good typing skills and personal computer knowledge
Must have excellent “people skills” with the public, co-workers,
and professional people.
Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Requirements: Must have excellent phone answering skills and the ability to take concise messages.
Must be able to deal with a distressed public in a positive, courteous manner.
Must possess good clerical skills including but not limited to the operation of all office equipment including typewriter, personal computer, and calculator.
Must be able to read, comprehend and interpret as well as follow instructions.
Must be able to prioritize, meet deadlines and be flexible.
Must be able to work within the “Team Concept.”
Must be able to maximize productivity.
