We are seeking an experienced and certified CWI / NDT Level II UT Inspector to join our quality control team at Warren Fabricating. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and ensuring the highest standards of quality in our fabricated products.
Role and Responsibilities
The CWI / NDT Level II UT Inspector is responsible for all in-process and final inspections, including visual and NDT techniques such as PT, MT, and UT, in accordance with the company, industry standards, and customer specifications and requirements.
Key Tasks
- Comply with and enforce the company's Quality Management System
- Maintain proper certifications and training to comply with NDT methods and testing
- Evaluate project specifications and inspections for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure required reports are completed according to project specifications
- Properly mark dimensions or welds that fail NDT methods
- Create bubble drawings and AP forms
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in fabricating inspection with a focus on weld examination
- Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) and NDT Level II UT certification
- Excellent knowledge of blueprints, drawings, and measurement tools
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
