Early Childhood Educator - Infant to Toddler Teacher

Embark on a fulfilling journey as an Early Childhood Educator at Warren-Walker School's Early Learning Center. As we celebrate more than 90 years of educational excellence, our team is expanding, and we're seeking passionate and caring individuals to nurture and educate our youngest learners. Your role as an Infant/Toddler Teacher is pivotal - you'll assist, supervise, and care for the daily needs of our infants and toddlers, providing them a safe and supportive environment for growth and learning.
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Guidance and Education: Assist, supervise, and care for infants and toddlers, including guidance on diapering and toilet habits. Implement engaging lesson plans designed to achieve Prekindergarten objectives, fostering problem-solving skills and early learning development.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain clear and effective communication with parents by utilizing written reports, in-person, and through digital methods. Collaborate with colleagues to create integrated units of study, ensuring a cohesive educational approach.
- Wellbeing and Environment: Fully support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical wellbeing of infants and toddlers. Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment, adhering to Community Care Licensing regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate Degree (required) in Early Childhood Education (preferred) with 12 units in ECE and infant/toddler studies.
- Experience: 1 year of teaching and childcare experience (Preferred).
- Certification: Child Development Associate Certification (Required).
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds unassisted, perform motor skill activities, and be outdoors for extended periods.
- Work Location: In person at our Early Learning Center.
