Job Overview : In this role, the Director of Human Resources will oversee all operations of the Human Resources Department for a staff of approximately 350 full and part-time employees, ensuring compliance with labor-related laws and guidelines, managing wage and salary administration, recruiting and staffing, employee relations, EEO compliance and reporting, and unemployment compensation. This leader will be responsible for the administration of employee benefits and workers' compensation programs. The Director will work closely with the Managing Director to foster a culture of inclusivity, professionalism, and excellence within the organization.
Category Type : This is a full-time, exempt position.
Reporting : This role reports directly to the Managing Director of the hotel. The Director of Human Resources will supervise a staff of 3 members and work closely with the Payroll Manager.
Objectives :
- Acts as a strategic partner to the Managing Director and Leadership Team in advancing the organization's HR vision, operational strategy, and recruitment goals.
- Ensures compliance with all labor-related laws and guidelines, implementing best practices in HR management.
- Oversees successful recruitment, seamless onboarding, ongoing professional development, effective performance evaluation, and strong employee retention.
- Manages employee relations, EEO compliance, and unemployment compensation processes.
- Administers and optimizes employee benefits and workers' compensation programs.
