We are seeking a Plant Operations and Engineering Manager to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide leadership, drive operational excellence, and make a significant impact in our manufacturing processes. As the Plant Operations and Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day plant operations, ensuring safe and cost-effective production while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
Korman Signs is a leading manufacturer with state-of-the-art facilities equipped with advanced machinery including Lincoln welding robots, a CNC Euromac turret press, Hydro mech saws, CNC AXYZ routers, wide format digital printers, and more. We are committed to producing high-quality products efficiently and maintaining a professional, organized atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Leadership : Manage day-to-day plant operations, including planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes.
- Quality Control : Set and direct quality standards, ensuring all products meet required specifications.
- Workflow Management : Monitor productivity, performance, and product standards; anticipate and resolve bottlenecks.
- Employee Relations : Manage employee performance, conduct disciplinary actions when necessary, and foster a collaborative work environment. Hold staff meetings to ensure excellent interdepartmental communication.
- Inventory and Equipment : Oversee inventory control, equipment maintenance, and plant security.
- Safety : Enforce and coordinate health and safety precautions with the Safety Director.
- Continuous Improvement : Provide input on product and process design to enhance efficiency and quality.
