Ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? As a Shift Lead at Dairy Queen, you’ll support the General Manager and Assistant Managers in running the show, setting high standards for the team, and making sure every guest has an awesome experience. You’ll keep things running smoothly, make sure everyone is working together, and step in to help whenever needed!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the Team: Support your managers in running the restaurant like a pro during your shift, setting up each team member for success and making sure everything stays on track.
- Make Every Day Great: Help deliver the best quality, service, and atmosphere for our guests, creating value with every delicious treat and making sure everyone leaves happy.
- Take Charge of Operations: From inventory to cash control, ensure that everything’s in order, and all procedures are followed.
- Keep Things Clean & Safe: Lead by example in food safety and cleanliness, ensuring proper handwashing, temperature checks, and product rotation. Set the standard for a safe and secure work environment.
- Customer Happiness: Handle customer feedback like a pro! Quickly resolve any concerns and make sure every guest leaves ready to return for more.
- Solve the Bottlenecks: Make sure things run quickly and smoothly by identifying any hiccups in the workflow and resolving them fast!
- Build Relationships: Create connections with our regulars and make them feel special. Help attract new fans by sharing ideas with management on how to keep things exciting and fresh.
- Train & Coach: Help the team level up! Assist in training and coaching crew members, making sure everyone is working their best and contributing to the team.
- Teamwork & Organization: Ensure that shifts are properly staffed, breaks are rotated, and tasks are delegated to keep the crew on top of their game during peak and non-peak hours.
- Positive Vibes: Be the team motivator! Help create a fun and cooperative atmosphere that makes everyone want to work hard and give their best.
