Description
The Warehouse Manager oversees daily warehouse activities, such as receiving, stocking, and distributing merchandise to retail locations. They are accountable for inventory management and implementing safety protocols to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and a safe work environment. |
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES |
• Receive orders from all company-owned stores and hotels, assist and oversee the order fulfillment, billing, and distribution of those orders as well as matching purchase orders to sales orders.. |
• Coordinate delivery routes and ensure delivery deadlines are met. |
• Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and in proper working order. |
• Oversee warehouse maintenance and condition. |
• Ensure that all safety regulations are met. |
• Manage inventory for all products in the warehouse. Track product on hand to ensure inventory meets company sales forecasts and dead inventory is eliminated. |
• Determining staffing levels and assigning workload; to include replacing, training, and cross-training of warehouse staff as needed. |
• Oversee and coordinate maintenance of equipment including delivery trucks. |
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. |
• Sweep, dust, and mop the warehouse as needed. |
• Act as a liaison for customers and suppliers. |
• Assist in snow removal from walkways (use of snow-melt, etc.). |
• Deliver products to company locations as required. |
• Communicate with department heads on inventory supplies and order as needed. |
• Unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, manage shipping and receiving process as needed. |
• Count physical inventory on a monthly basis. |
• Monitor performance and productivity to maximize operation excellence, which includes service, quality, and cost control. |
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code. |
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area. |
• Identify areas of improvement and update existing work procedures and practices. |
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. |
• Advise the Company of any actions/situations that pose a threat to any employee, customer, or guests. |
• Observe safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly. |
• Job may require other duties as assigned. |

Qualifications
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, & TRAINING |
