Warsaw Meadows Care Center seeking a Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant for our skilled nursing facility in Warsaw, IN.
You will perform a variety of light cleaning and organizing duties.
Shifts Available:
- Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Follows housekeeping procedures
- Places soiled linen (facility or residents personal linen) in the washing machine
- Folds or hangs resident personal linen, transports, and distributes resident personal linen to the resident's room. Hangs clothes in the closet and places clothes in drawers.
- Work on industrial equipment like floor buffers, industrial floor washers, and fix small building problems, like leaky faucets or faulty light switches.
- Lift heavy objects and spend most of your time on your feet.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies and direct all ordering through manager/supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
- Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment
- Covid Vaccine required unless an approved exemption is presented upon hiring
- Must be over 18 to apply
