Position Description
- Understanding of GMP guidelines.
- General maintenance of equipment used in manufacturing areas.
- Transfer of products to/from holding containers.
- Set ups of filling equipment, coding, and labeling machines
- Rotary, PD, and Hot fill fillers
- Employees must be able to read Blue Prints and electrical schematics.
- Machining/fabrication of parts.
- Electrical installations.
- AC Units repair and troubleshooting.
- Fabrication and troubleshooting of level control units.
Responsibilities - Functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- 1. Knowledge and understanding of all Manufacturing SOP’s concerning department
- 2. Clean and Sanitization of filling equipment
- 3. Set ups of filling equipment, coding machines, labeling machines and heat and steam tunnels.
- 4. Pull bulk material.
- 5. Operate Fork lift.
- 6. Improvements on production lines.
- 7. Dismantling of filling equipment for PM activities.
- 8. Reading on electrical diagrams for improvements and troubleshooting of filling equipment.
- 9. Understanding on pneumatics and hydraulics.
- 10. Machining of machinery parts.
- 11. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Qualifications - Knowledge of:
- Materials, methods, terminology, equipment and tools used in the maintenance, repair of equipment.
- Basic principles and practices of municipal budget preparation and administration.
- Equipment, tools and materials used in facility maintenance activities.
- Principles and practices of safety management.
- Ability to:
- Interpret and explain pertinent department policies and procedures.
- Perform maintenance duties and operate related equipment.
- Demonstrate team communication.
- Perform assigned tasks.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $24.00 per hour
