Position summary

Responsibilities
Clinical Performance and Documentation
- Ensure program staff provide effective assessment and consultation services
- Provide training and assist with intakes as needed to support staff
- Ensure that referrals and requests for services are responded to and processed quickly to help clients access services or receive triage and/or referral services
- Work with Washburn clinical, support and reimbursement staff as well as external referral sources to refine systems to improve access, streamline systems and facilitate enrollment
- Develop standards and training related to culturally competent practice
- Maintain knowledge of both established and emerging interventions and implement as appropriate
- Demonstrate knowledge of and supervise staff so that practice is consistent with the agency’s Clinical Policies and Procedures
- Maintain a small caseload with Outreach cases
- Ensure Family Focused Group interns provide effective group treatment and engage in learning
- Provide training and support to interns completing diagnostic assessments through the Assessment team
- Review intern paperwork, notes, etc
- Provide foundational training regarding Developmental Repair concepts, support intern learning, and implementation of those concepts in-group
- Oversee clinical documentation practices to meet state and contracted requirements
- Review documentation regularly to review quality and accuracy and to meet contracted requirements
- Ensure that MN and HIPAA data privacy requirements are followed
- Collaborate with various Universities in which the students are attending. Complete necessary evaluations, site visits, etc. as needed per school
- Outcomes collection
- Work with staff and clients to reliably collect outcomes data and use as appropriate for consultation, evaluation, quality improvement and reporting purposes
- Provide effective leadership in hiring, training, supervising and evaluating Outreach staff and interns
- Work with HR staff and other program staff as needed to recruit, interview and hire qualified staff
- Complete timely annual performance evaluations for all program staff with clear professional development plans and diversity goals
- Facilitate weekly case consultation meetings in Outreach
- Provide weekly individual and/or group supervision as appropriate for Outreach program staff
- Provide resources, training, feedback and activities as needed to build a cohesive, productive team
- Create a positive, respectful work environment
- Provide weekly supervision for 3-5 MSW interns in the Family Focused Groups
- Actively coordinate and complete necessary paperwork, evaluations, etc. for the various University or Colleges that collaborate with Washburn
- One time per month, provide intern group supervision in the Family Focused program
- Observe interns actively in group (Minimum 1 time per month)
- Coordinate with Family Focused group therapists (minimum quarterly) to discuss intern engagement and needs
- Join daily debriefing (as needed) to assess an support intern engagement and progress
- Group coverage provided as needed
- Join Family Focused Program meeting 1 time per month to discuss group or intern needs more broadly
- Support hiring and onboarding of interns (info sessions, lever, interviews) and partner with Family Focused group supervisor
- Support and oversee interns with gaining experience with diagnostic assessments through the Assessment team
- During the summer session when there are less interns – providing support as group coverage as needed, complete DA’s through Assessment team
- Participate in and contribute to other agency teams and meetings as needed
- Participate on ongoing agency committees or teams (e.g., accounts receivable, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives, clinical supervisors' group, in-service planning)
- Meet regularly with program directors and communicate program updates, changes, etc
- Participate in external meetings with other providers, referral sources, payers, etc. as needed to develop relationships, generate referrals, or improve systems
- Develop and maintain systems and relationships to maintain budgeted utilization for program services
- Ensure that clients are receiving services consistent with the program model
- Coordinate program intakes and enrollment
- Work with program clinicians, support and reimbursement staff to maintain timely authorizations for services
- Participate in Program Budget Development and Monitoring of Revenue & Expenses
- Manage program revenue and expenses based on budgeted guidelines and team with program and finance directors to review and develop program budget
- Review monthly utilization and financial reports, monitor trends and develop follow up plans with program directors as needed
- Work with program directors to identify and pursue opportunities for program expansion

- Work with program support staff and directors to complete required reporting (e.g., Hennepin County outcomes reports, grant reports)
- Work with program directors to ensure compliance with legal, ethical and licensing guidelines and requirements (e.g., grievance logs, data privacy)

- Provide comprehensive, timely training to new staff and ongoing professional development for program staff and interns

Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
