What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Coordinator position at Washington Area Clinical Center?
The candidate selected for this position should be able to execute the directives and visions of the CEO with minimal supervision. This person should be organized, energetic, creative, efficient, and productive. The Executive Coordinator works directly with the CEO in an office-based setting supporting the functions of healthcare operations. This position requires independent judgment, a consistent initiative on assignments that are time-sensitive in nature, a positive attitude, and advanced skills using Mircosoft Excel and other technologies. Some of the duties include:
- Researching products and services
- Coordinating quotes for new contracts
- Communicating with staff and other employees on behalf of CEO
- Attending staff meetings and maintaining a detailed archive of meeting minutes
- Purchasing supplies and paying monthly bills
- Answer calls and requests directed toward CEO
- Managing the professional and personal calendars of CEO to prevent conflicts
- Approving timesheets on behalf of CEO
- Screening mail, email, and other official letters
- Preparing announcements on-behalf of CEO
- Proofreading documents
- Entering sensitive data on behalf of CEO
- Preparing Reports and Disseminating Data to Staff
- Issuing and approving maintenance and service requests
- Posting ads and listings on behalf of CEO
- Serving and General Point of Contact
Requirements
The ideal candidate should be friendly, trustworthy, reliable, and confident. The individual should have strong verbal and writing skills and be able to perform basic functions in Microsoft Excel. In addition, the candidate should be able to:
- Manage multiple assignments set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions
- Be a results-driven achiever with excellent organizational skills
- Must be an exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing
- Have stamina, drive, and perseverance to handle pressure well
- Must be willing and able to resolve problem situations with a smile on their face
- Reliable. Stable.
- Proficient in MS Office Excel
- Quickbooks or other accounting software skills a plus
- Experience in the Healthcare a plus
