Reports to : Adult Program Head
Hourly Wage Range : $52 - $57
Classification : Part-time, Seasonal
Location : Washington, DC
Position Description
The Washington School of Ballet seeks an energetic candidate with significant experience teaching ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, Pilates and / or Floor Barre to adult students of various levels ranging from fundamentals, beginner, advanced beginner, intermediate to advanced dancers. The candidate must possess strong knowledge in classical ballet and / or other dance styles, have experience in teaching specifically adults, be punctual and reliable, a good communicator and team player, and follow the school's curriculum.
Key Job Duties
- Teach classes to Adult Students at designated levels.
- Attend faculty meetings.
- Actively participate in creating a work culture that celebrates Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging (DEIB).
