Job Summary :
Washington Care Center in Seattle, WA is seeking a Smoking Aide that will assist in a safe smoking protocol to ensure residents can smoke in the designated smoking area and securing smoking materials and safety equipment upon the conclusion of designated smoking times.
Essential Functions :
- Monitor resident’s capacity and notify Licensed staff to adjust plans as needed.
- Assist clients in developing personalized plans for quitting smoking
- Provide education and resources to clients on the dangers of smoking and the benefits of quitting
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and treatment plans
- Assist residents place Aprons on and monitor smoking activity
- Take residents from / to rooms after the session
- Clean the smoking section / area after each session.
- Reports any allegations of Abuse and Neglect to their Direct supervisor
- Any duties assigned by supervisor
