Job Title: Store Clerk-Store Status: REG/PT/NE
Reports to: Store Manager Division: Business
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Process donations at the Hidden Treasures Stores, sort, price, and put merchandise out on the sales floor. Provide customer service to shoppers, process orders using a cash register, count money for opening drawer and daily deposits.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uphold, promote, and encourage, in word and deed, the desired organizational culture and core values.
Clean and price bric-a-brac merchandise
Price, hang or fold clothing items in proper departments
Maintain clothing racks according to store rag-out/merchandising policies
Clean and straighten store daily
Assist store manager in maintaining store display standards
Follow and maintain safety requirements within assigned area
Attend meetings
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Christian, committed to and passionate about sharing the gospel and building disciples of Jesus Christ with the needy, homeless, addicted, and mentally ill.
Computer literate, proficient in email
Maintain good customer/donor relations
Maintain accurate store records
Ability to work varied shifts and weekend hours
May use dishwashing, steaming, or washer and dryer equipment.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent, ability to count and use simple addition, subtraction, and multiplication, 6 months retail experience required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Requires working in inclement weather and occasional odd hours
