What are the responsibilities and job description for the Football Administration & Finance Analyst position at Washington Commanders?
Title: FOOTBALL ADMINISTRATION & FINANCE ANALYST
Reports to: VP of Football Administration and VP of Finance
Reports to: VP of Football Administration and VP of Finance
Duties:
· Serve as day-to-day liaison between the Football staff and the Finance department on budget formulation, expense tracking, financial modeling, and other finance/budget related matters.
· Under direction of the Football Administration team, work with all Football departments on budget formulation, expense tracking, invoice processing, capex management, etc.
· Implement systems and efficiencies to streamline budgeting, purchasing, and expense tracking processes for Football staff.
· Manage contracts and payment obligations for the club’s football vendors and service providers.
· Oversee player payroll management and non-player contractual payment obligations.
· Provide regular and timely updates on budget matters to Football and Finance leadership.
· Support leaguewide market analysis and player cost modeling.
· Assist with various other Football Administration financial analyses and projections.
· Provide day-to-day support to the Football Administration team.
· Other duties as assigned by Football Administration and Finance.

Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in finance or accounting, or a related field.
· Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a finance or accounting function, or comparable position.
· Proficient in Excel and strong analytical and communication skills.
· Licensed CPA preferred.
