This position must maintain a working relationship with all arms of the content department.

Job Summary
The Senior Producer, Creative Video assists in the ideation and creation of content posted on the teams multiple social media channels, including the brainstorming and planning of video content, the actual filming of both live events (practices, games, community events) to actual video shoots, as well as editing the videos that will later be used. This position must maintain a working relationship with all arms of the content department.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Video editing engaging content for social media use, as well as occasional use on in-stadium videoboards and internally
- Constant coverage of the team, by camera and sometimes cell phone, at practice, while traveling and on gamedays
- Create content for Twitter, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube and other emerging platforms, using both new and archival footage and finding opportunities for collaborations and exposure on other influencer accounts to reach new audiences
- Assist in larger video shoots as an extra camera person or on-set producer
- Assist in helping train interns
- Monitor content trends across platforms and brainstorm, ideate, research and plan content around tentpole events or major moments, including but not limited to:
- Media day
- Schedule release
- Season opening hype video
- Meet the rookies
- Training camp content
- Special moments for players and coaches (award/recognition announcements and surprise reveals)
- Collaborations with influencers
- Community moments
- Ability to create visual storytelling through video and sometimes still content
- An understanding of social trends and what kind of content performs well on different platforms
- Excellent people skills in communication and collaboration with others
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment and in media work zones
- Ability to work quickly under pressure
- Basic understanding of football
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premier Pro and After Effects
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform duties with alignment to the Commanders Core Values

- Must be able to work outdoors covering practice and games from sidelines
- Must be able to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Must be available to travel with team to all road games, with usual departure day prior to game
